Refund policy

The Femili PNG Shop is run by FemiliPNG Australia (ABN 41 706 886 372), and sells a wide range of products – from clothing to coffee. All profits from sales are directed towards supporting Femili PNG’s work.

FemiliPNG Australia values our shop’s customers, and we recognise our responsibility to protect consumer rights. We adhere to the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which form part of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010. The ACL is administered by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC)

This Returns Policy helps you understand when you are entitled to a replacement or refund, and how to access it.

What happens if I wish to return an item? 

Incorrectly Fulfilled Items

If an item has been delivered incorrectly, FemiliPNG Australia will provide you with either:

  • A full refund (usually in the same form as the original payment); or
  • A replacement of the product.

FemiliPNG Australia will request proof of purchase (such as a receipt), and a photo of the incorrect item you received. We will cover any postage costs associated with these returns and replacements.

Faulty or Damaged Items

If a product is faulty or damaged, FemiliPNG Australia will provide you with either:

  • A full refund (usually in the same form as the original payment); or
  • A replacement of the product.

FemiliPNG Australia will request proof of purchase (such as a receipt), and a photo of the item you received. We will cover any postage costs associated with these returns and replacements.

A product is faulty or damaged if it:

  • Has a problem that makes it unsafe;
  • Is very different from its description;
  • Cannot be used for its actual purpose; or
  • Has a problem that would prevent someone from purchasing it if they had known about it.

FemiliPNG Australia is not able to offer refunds or exchanges if:

  • The problem with the product was caused by you misusing it; or
  • You were explicitly made aware of the problem with the product before you purchased it.

Change of Mind

In general, FemiliPNG Australia is not required to offer returns, refunds or exchanges due to change of mind.

‘Change of Mind’ includes, but is not limited to, situations in which you:

  • Find a lower-priced item somewhere else;
  • Prefer a different size, colour, design or grind; or
  • Decide you do not like or need the product.
